This is a quick update about the Role VTT module for Lost Stories and how to access it.
Lost Stories on Role!
Great news! As per the last update, the Lost Stories module is now live on Role VTT.
Check your email—I’ve just sent out redeem codes! They’ll come from Backerkit, and you’ll receive one if your pledge included Lost Stories in any form (backers only).
Click on the icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Select Redeem, enter your code, and confirm.
That’s it! Lost Stories is now in your Role library.
A Few Things to Note:
The module includes only the base Hunters from Lost Stories—campaign exclusives are not included, as the content needs to be accessible to non-backers as well.
You don't need the base Broken Tales module for Lost Stories to work correctly. If you have it, you'll see the new items together with the old ones.
The module is also available for purchase.

✅ EU: Complete!
All remaining packages left our warehouse today, so by now, you should have either received yours or it should be arriving very soon. All packages are tracked.
We are handling a few exceptional cases (2-3 packages) that required manual intervention due to zip code mismatches and other shipping complexities, but those are being resolved as well.

An update on Lost Stories VTT Role and Alchemy support
I’ve recently been in touch with both companies, and I have some good news to share!
Role: I’m working directly with the lead developer to get the room set up, and we’re talking days, not weeks or months. I’ll share details on how to access it in an upcoming update.
Alchemy: Alchemy has confirmed they’re still backlogged, but The Broken Ones will be given priority since it’s already been ingested and only needs some additional graphic design. We’ve also shared the Lost Stories files with their team—it’s now in the queue, but it will be released afterDead Air: Seasons, which has been waiting even longer.
While I don’t have an exact ETA, I’m hopeful we’ll see most of these projects rolling out in 2025. Stay tuned!

Un aggiornamento sul supporto per Lost Stories su Role e Alchemy
Recentemente mi sono messo in contatto con entrambe le aziende e ho delle buone notizie da condividere!
Role: Stiamo collaborando direttamente con lo sviluppatore principale di Role per allestire la stanza, e stiamo parlando di giorni, non di settimane o mesi. Condividerò i dettagli su come accedervi in un prossimo aggiornamento.
Alchemy: Alchemy ha confermato che sono ancora in arretrato, ma The Broken Onesavrà la priorità, dato che il materiale è già stato integrato e necessita solo di ulteriori interventi di graphic design. Abbiamo inoltre inviato i file di Lost Stories al team — sono ora in coda, ma verranno rilasciati dopoDead Air: Seasons, che è in attesa da ancora più tempo.
Sebbene non disponga di una data precisa di rilascio, sono fiducioso che la maggior parte di questi progetti verrà pubblicata nel 2025. Restate sintonizzati!

Another shipping update. Before you jump around to see what's going on in your region, I wanted to mention that a new game of Broken Tales, Chains that Bind, is taking place on our server in Play by Discord text format, courtesy of our mod Tragglefax and some enthusiastic players. You can follow along in the ic-brokentales-ctb-play-by-discord channel.
Shipment updates
✅ ITALY: Complete. See Italian part of the update for more details.
🚚 EU: Started, first packages went out today. We can ship about 40 packages a day because of how we can book the package pickup, so we should be done by the middle of next week. If you received a tracking number, you're in the first batch. If you didn't, don't panic, it's coming.
🚚 REST OF THE WORLD: There are currently 67 packages on hold. These are waiting for another shipment of campaign Exclusives. To recap: the first shipment was supposed to contain everything we needed, but the numbers on the documents didn't match the number of Exclusives in the boxes (it's still unclear why this happened). We shipped more rewards, which disappeared on January 10th after customs made us pay duties. We don't have updates about it, if not a generic "delay" on its online tracking. No one from UPS customer service has been able to tell us anything useful. How this is possible is beyond me, but we sent the Exclusives out for the THIRD time this morning. We really hope that the third time will be the charm. If there are no more problems, we should be able to finish Rest of the World by the end of next week. Please bear with us as we try to remain calm in the face of shipping adversity.

Nuovo update incentrato sulle spedizioni!
Aggiornamenti sulle spedizioni
✅ ITALIA: Spedizioni completate. Se avete problemi con i codici di download vedete sotto, e se non avete ricevuto il vostro pacco fatecelo sapere.
🚚 UE: Spedizioni iniziate, i primi pacchi sono stati spediti oggi. Possiamo spedire circa 40 pacchi al giorno a causa delle modalità di prenotazione del ritiro pacchi, quindi dovremmo terminare entro la metà della prossima settimana. Se avete ricevuto un numero di tracciamento, siete nel primo lotto. Se non lo avete ricevuto, non preoccupatevi, sta arrivando.
🚚 RESTO DEL MONDO: Attualmente ci sono 67 pacchi in sospeso, in attesa di un’altra spedizione delle Esclusive della campagna. Per ricapitolare: la prima spedizione avrebbe dovuto contenere tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno, ma i numeri sui documenti non corrispondevano al numero di Esclusive nelle scatole (il motivo di questo problema è ancora poco chiaro). Abbiamo spedito più ricompense, che sono scomparse il 10 gennaio dopo che la dogana ci ha fatto pagare i dazi. Non abbiamo aggiornamenti, se non un generico “ritardo” nel tracciamento online. Nessuno del servizio clienti UPS è stato in grado di fornirci informazioni utili. Come sia possibile non riusciamo a capirlo, ma abbiamo spedito le Esclusive per la TERZA volta questa mattina. Speriamo davvero che questa sia la volta buona. Se non ci saranno ulteriori problemi, dovremmo riuscire a completare le spedizioni nel resto del mondo entro la fine della prossima settimana. Vi chiediamo un po’ di pazienza mentre cerchiamo di mantenere la calma di fronte a queste avversità logistiche.
Se le ricompense dovessero arrivare danneggiate, o dovesse esserci qualche altro problema, mandate delle prove fotografiche a [email protected] e vi manderemo delle copie sostitutive.
Il download che non funziona
Siamo a conoscenza di un problema con il codice per il download del PDF di Lost Stories che troverete all’interno del libro. L’url indicato sul foglietto non esiste e non possiamo ripristinarlo a posteriori. Vi ricordo che potete accedere ai PDF anche dalla sezione Digital Downloads di Backerkit e dovreste aver ricevuto una copia del manuale anche su DriveThruRPG. In ogni caso, se voleste riscattarlo tramite SendOwl, il servizio di distribuzione che usiamo, scrivetemi a [email protected] e ve lo invierò a mano.

Today we have a bunch of updates about shipping, and a big favor to ask.

Kickstarter wants to ensure backers receive their rewards, and some of our previous campaigns have had instances where rewards weren’t marked as received—even though they were delivered. As a result, we’re under a bit of scrutiny.
When you receive your rewards, please take a moment to confirm them on Kickstarter. Here’s how:
Go to Backed Projects > View All.
Scroll down to find Lost Stories and mark it as “Got it”.
Now, let me be upfront: many people don’t even know this screen exists, and Kickstarter doesn’t make it mandatory to check that box (understandably so). However, they expect a certain percentage of backers to confirm their rewards before allowing us to proceed with future campaigns.
We’d really appreciate your help here—just be sure to do it once your rewards have safely arrived!

Shipment updates
🚚 EU: We’re in the process of shipping packages to our Italian backers. Due to resource constraints and daily limits set by delivery companies, we can only ship a certain number of packages each day. However, we’re working hard to send shipments almost every day of the week.
We plan to begin shipping to the rest of the EU shortly, likely starting after next week. If you haven’t received your tracking number yet, don’t worry—it simply means your package is being prepared and will be on its way soon.
🚚 REST OF THE WORLD: Zatu has shipped approximately 270 packages, with confirmed arrivals in the US, UK, and New Zealand. They still have about 130 packages left to send, as they were waiting for a box of replacement rewards after the original was misplaced. The replacement box cleared customs this morning, resolving the issue, and we anticipate all remaining shipments will be sent out by the end of next week. If you haven’t received your tracking number yet, your shipment is part of this final batch. Below, you can see the first pictures shared by backers.
Alchemy and Role support
During the campaign, we unlocked support for both Alchemy VTT and Role VTT as stretch goals for Lost Stories. It’s time for a quick update, though, unfortunately, the news is only mildly disappointing—because, plot twist, selling TTRPGs isn’t the most profitable business out there.
Alchemy: I recently spoke with the team at Alchemy, and they shared that they are currently backlogged with numerous games onboarded over the past year. Understandably, they’re prioritizing high-profile titles for now, which means our content, while still in the pipeline, doesn’t have a clear ETA. I’ll continue to stay in touch with them and will let you know as soon as we have progress.
Role: The platform underwent significant changes in 2024, with the team downsizing to a single person, who also took over ownership. While there’s a clear intention to continue supporting Role, the capacity for adding new content is understandably limited. If you purchased the Add-On for Broken Tales and The Broken Ones during the campaign, you should have received access to that content several months ago. As for Lost Stories, its feasibility is uncertain, but I’ve reached out to Role to better understand what we can realistically expect.
I’ll keep you posted as things evolve—thank you for your patience and understanding!

Ricompensa ricevuta? Fatelo sapere a Kickstarter
Kickstarter vuole assicurarsi che i sostenitori ricevano le loro ricompense. Tuttavia, in alcune delle nostre campagne precedenti, alcuni backer non hanno segnato le ricompense come ricevute, anche quando erano state effettivamente consegnate. Di conseguenza, siamo sotto un po’ di scrutinio.
Quando riceverete le vostre ricompense, vi chiediamo di confermarlo su Kickstarter. Ecco come fare:

Aggiornamenti sulle spedizioni
🚚 ITALIA E UE:Siamo nel pieno delle spedizioni per i backer italiani. A causa di risorse limitate e di un numero massimo giornaliero stabilito dalle aziende di consegna, possiamo spedire solo un certo numero di pacchi al giorno. Tuttavia, stiamo lavorando per effettuare spedizioni quasi ogni giorno della settimana.
Prevediamo di iniziare le spedizioni al resto dell’UE a breve, probabilmente a partire dalla settimana successiva alla prossima. Se non avete ancora ricevuto il vostro numero di tracciamento, non preoccupatevi—significa che il vostro pacco è in preparazione e sarà presto in viaggio.
🚚 RESTO DEL MONDO: Zatu ha spedito circa 270 pacchi, con conferme di consegna in USA, Regno Unito e Nuova Zelanda. Restano circa 130 pacchi da spedire, poiché stavano aspettando una scatola di ricompense sostitutive dopo che quella originale era andata persa. La scatola sostitutiva è stata sdoganata questa mattina, risolvendo il problema, e prevediamo che tutte le spedizioni rimanenti saranno completate entro la fine della prossima settimana. Se non avete ancora ricevuto il vostro numero di tracciamento, il vostro pacco fa parte di questo lotto finale.
Supporto per Alchemy e Role
Durante la campagna, abbiamo sbloccato il supporto per Alchemy VTT e Role VTT come Stretch Goal per Lost Stories. È il momento di un rapido aggiornamento, anche se purtroppo le notizie sono solo parzialmente positive—perché, colpo di scena, vendere GdR non è esattamente il business più redditizio del mondo.
Alchemy: Ho recentemente parlato con il team di Alchemy, e mi hanno spiegato che al momento sono in arretrato con numerosi giochi confermati per la piattaforma nell’ultimo anno. Comprensibilmente, stanno dando priorità ai titoli più importanti, il che significa che i nostri contenuti, pur essendo in programma, non hanno ancora una data precisa. Rimarrò in contatto con loro e vi aggiornerò appena ci saranno progressi.
Role: La piattaforma ha subito cambiamenti significativi nel 2024, con il team ridotto a una sola persona, che ha anche assunto la proprietà del progetto. Sebbene ci sia chiaramente l’intenzione di continuare a supportare Role, la capacità di aggiungere nuovi contenuti è comprensibilmente limitata.
Se durante la campagna avete acquistato l’Add-On per Broken Tales e The Broken Ones, dovreste aver ricevuto l’accesso a quei contenuti diversi mesi fa. Per quanto riguarda Lost Stories, la fattibilità è meno chiara, ma ho contattato Role per capire cosa possiamo realisticamente aspettarci.

This is mostly a shipment update but we also have the final part of Nikola’s Pledge for you to check out.
Shipment updates
🤌 EU: Packaging is well underway (see picture) and we are expecting a new shipment of boxes today as we have run out of what we had in house. We expect shipments to begin within the next 10 days.
🚚 REST OF THE WORLD: Zatu ships from the UK to any non-EU destination. We have confirmation that several backers have already received their shipping notifications (see below), so your rewards are on their way. We're aware of about 60 orders on hold, so don't panic if you haven't received a notification yet: one box of rewards was misplaced during delivery and Zatu will receive new stock next week when they'll be able to resume shipping. They're moving pretty fast, so we're only expecting a week or so delay.

Oggi parliamo principalmente di spedizioni, ma abbiamo anche la parte finale di Nikola’s Pledge da mostrare.
Aggiornamenti sulle spedizioni
🤌 ITALIA E UE: La fase di imballaggio è a buon punto (vedi foto) e attendiamo oggi una nuova spedizione di scatole, poiché abbiamo esaurito tutto quello che avevamo in magazzino. Ci aspettiamo che le spedizioni inizino entro i prossimi 10 giorni.
🚚 RESTO DEL MONDO: Zatu spedisce dal Regno Unito verso qualsiasi destinazione non UE. Abbiamo la conferma che molti backer hanno già ricevuto le notifiche di spedizione (vedi sotto), quindi le vostre ricompense sono in arrivo. Siamo a conoscenza di circa 60 ordini in attesa, quindi non fatevi prendere dal panico se non avete ancora ricevuto una notifica: una scatola di articoli è stata smarrita durante la consegna e Zatu riceverà nuove scorte la prossima settimana, quando sarà in grado di riprendere le spedizioni. Sono piuttosto veloci, quindi ci aspettiamo solo un ritardo di una settimana o poco più.
